Een voortzetting van een goede smartphone, maakt van de 6T absoluut geen slecht toestel of een afrader, zeker niet! Maar het slaat wel terug op het eindoordeel van deze review, er zijn gewoonweg betere keuzes en ik begrijp niet zo goed waarom de 6T überhaupt is ontwikkeld. Mocht je daarom in de markt zijn voor een nieuw OnePlus-toestel, dan is het wellicht een beter idee om op zoek te gaan naar een leuke aanbieding van de OnePlus 6, die nog bij verschillende webshops wordt verkocht. Of om een half jaar te wachten op de OnePlus 7, die hopelijk wat meer in z’n mars heeft. Ook is de Samsung Galaxy S9 intussen dusdanig in prijs verlaagd, dat hij gelijk ligt met de OnePlus 6T. De S9 is in bijna alle opzichten een betere keuze.

Ja, de OnePlus 6T is op een aantal fronten veranderd en verbeterd. De accu gaat langer mee en dat is een belangrijk punt. Dat het scherm groter is geworden en een kleinere inkeping heeft is prima maar van minder belang want de kwaliteit van het scherm is hetzelfde gebleven. OnePlus vindt zelf de vingerafdrukscanner onder het scherm een grote verbetering. Wat mij betreft hadden ze hem gewoon achterop het toestel kunnen laten zitten en het geld en de ruimte voor die tech kunnen uitsparen. Het zit er nu eenmaal op en het werkt. De camera blijft een zorgenkindje. Begrijp me niet verkeerd, deze maakt prima foto's en ik kan er prima mee uit de voeten. Toch zullen de camera's van Huawei en Samsung beter zijn, dus wanneer je een toptoestel zoekt met een echte topcamera dan is de OnePlus 6T niet voor jou. Wil je gewoon goede foto's dan kun je hem zeker meenemen in je overweging.

First, the performance and its speed. It matches or outdoes every other Android device out there in that, although with the newer competitors the difference is barely noticeable. Second, the 6T has a unique mish-mash of features, ranging from some very high-end specs to some that are better described as upper-midrange, and these are all put together in a package that is very affordable by today's standards of flagship smartphone pricing. This would make the phone incredibly attractive once it gets its due price cut upon the release of the OnePlus 7, which by the way will be revealed in less than 2 weeks. Admittedly, with a full glass design I expected wireless charging to be present, but it is difficult to find any other faults with this phone. It has solid battery life and the cutting edge under display fingerprint reader. But I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I don’t think I will be buying the OnePlus 6T. My reason for this is that there just isn’t enough of an upgrade for me and my use case scenario with my OnePlus 5T. If OnePlus keeps up to their current release schedule, the OnePlus 7 should arrive in Q2 of 2019 and I think I’m going to hold out till then.

De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).
