MSI's gaming notebook may have a Dragon pattern on its lid and palm rest, but it's not quite an epic fire-breathing beast. The look of the MSI GT70 Dragon Edition may ultimately decide whether you go for this gaming notebook or not (as well as the price, of course). Under the hood, it has a fast configuration that's very fast for the most part, but we think it could use a higher-end graphics card to match the "premium" vibe that this notebook gives off.

Something which is always nice when receiving an enthusiast system to see the manufacturer taking time to package the product appropriately and that is the case with MSI's GT70 Dragon Edition. The system is protected by a useful cloth bag, the extras bagged up to and separated into sections within a quality box.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M: De NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M SLI is een high-end grafische oplossing voor laptops gebaseerd op twee GTX 675M grafische kaarten in SLI modus. Met SLI rendered elke kaart gebruikelijk een enkel frame (AFR modus). Hierdoor kan micro stuttering optreden bij een lage framerate. Dit komt omdat de tijdspanne tussen de twee frames anders is (zoals de onregelmatige vertragingen bij sequentiële frames).

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
