But performance is mediocre even for a budget laptop.

It's got the battery power to last you through most of a school day, plus its price tag won't leave you gasping for air. Take a look at the system if you really need to save money over all other concerns, but note that buying a system with extra performance oomph will cost a bit more (about $50 more).

AMD Radeon HD 7420G: Processor grafische kaart die geïntegreerd zit in de Trinity A4 serie APU's van AMD (bv. A4-4300M). Gebaseerd op de VLIW4 architectuur van de Radeon HD 6900 desktop serie.
De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).
