ik heb mijn dell xps 15 nu bijna 2 weken en kan nu al zeggen dat dit een hele fijne laptop is en gewoon een geweldige allrounder. het toetsenbord is heel fijn de trackpad is goed de bouwkwaliteit is geweldig en de performance ook.

En Dell - zo heb ik ontdekt - heeft geen verkoopafdeling meer voor zakelijke klanten met minder dan 200 medewerkers. Met alle specificaties waar je toch nog uit kunt kiezen wil je soms net wat meer weten dan wat de website vermeldt.

Ik moet wel zeggen dat het een van de beste laptops is die ik tot nu toe had, afgezien van de issues met de CPU en het aansluiten van schermen, dat vind ik onvergeeflijk. Daarnaast is de laptop ook bijna 2x zo duur als mijn vorige laptop, daar had ik meer van verwacht

De XPS 15 heeft wel last van throttling, en niet weinig. Ik raad aan om de processor en grafische kaart te repasten hier staan veel videos van online. Ook word er vanuit dell een audiodriver geinstalleerd die een raar filter over het geluid gooit, ik heb dit verwijdert en de standaard windows audio drivers geinstalleerd. verder heb ik nog geen problemen gehad met deze laptop. de laptop is snel, heeft geen moeite met 4k footage bewerken (ook met veel effects).

Dell: Dell is een Amerikaanse fabrikant (gevestigd in Texas) van computerhardware, opgericht in 1984 en is een van de grootste internationale fabrikanten, zowel qua marktaandeel als qua notebookmodellen. De productlijn omvat desktops, notebooks, opslagsystemen, monitors, servers, printers, consumentenelektronica en randapparatuur. Dell biedt laptops die geschikt zijn voor verschillende toepassingen, zoals zakelijke laptops, gaming laptops, ultra portables en werkstations. De zakelijke laptops uit de Latitude en Precision series van Dell zijn een optie voor professionele gebruikers en bedrijven.
In 2023 had Dell een marktaandeel van ongeveer 17% in de wereldwijde verkoop van pc's en stond daarmee op de derde plaats, na Lenovo en HP.
Voor gameliefhebbers is er Dell's Alienware merk voor gaming notebooks.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile:
Mainstream grafische kaart gebaseerd op Nvidia's Pascal-architectuur en opvolger van de GeForce GTX 960M. Is gefabriceerd in een 14nm-proces bij Samsung en de technische specificaties zijn erg vergelijkbaar met de desktopversie.

Quad-core notebook-processor gebaseerd op de Kaby Lake-architectuur en geklokt aan 2.5 - 3.5 GHz zonder Hyper Threading (dat ondersteund wordt door de snellere i7-CPU's). De chip beschikt over een geïntegreerde HD Graphics 630 GPU geklokt aan 350 - 1000 MHz en is gefabriceerd in een 14nm-proces (verbeterd ten opzichte van Skylake).
