And speaking of good looks, you can configure this bad boy with a spectacular 4K OLED display, which makes just about anything look great. And at $2,249, it's thousands of dollars less than a tricked-out Apple MacBook Pro ($6,549).

A powerful processor, big battery, the option of up to 64GB of RAM and the choice between LCD and OLED displays mean that if you want a performance machine for writing and everyday work, you’re sorted, but if you’re after something for creative work, you might be golden here too – provided you can afford the 4K OLED option.
