EN→NLThe Dell Precision 5760 is a 17-inch mobile workstation with a lot to offer. The near bezel-free screen is superb in its 4K iteration, as sent to me for review, and the speakers do it proud. Configuration options extend to a Xeon W processor, Nvidia RTX A3000 graphics and 8TB of storage, the keyboard is exceptional and the build is very solid. There are a few downsides, however. The 720p webcam is average, battery life is lacklustre, and those seeking more muscular configurations will need to dig deep into their pockets. Working with the 4K screen I would struggle to get a full day's work out of a full battery charge. Even the base model in the UK costs £2,352.64 (inc. VAT) and its Core i5 processor, integrated graphics, non-touch FHD+ screen, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage are far below what most workstation users will require.

EN→NLDo people still use the word “smitten” anymore? I have a huge crush on the Dell Precision 5760 workstation, and it grows the more I use it. Its 17-inch display is captivating, endlessly immersive, and just a joy to work on. The 5760 is sleek and doesn’t feel at all like it weighs 5.5 pounds. From its 0.34 inches thick, tactile deck to its massive clicky keyboard and touchpad and 8-plus hours of battery life, I could offer endless platitudes for the Precision, but I digress. I will add that within its test group it is the most affordable workstation, starting at just $2,059, and should you be in the market for a workstation, the Dell Precision 5760 is an excellent option.

NVIDIA RTX A3000 Laptop GPU:
Grafische kaart voor professionele laptops uit het middensegment, gebaseerd op de Ampere GA104 chip. Vergelijkbaar met de GeForce GTX 3060 voor consumenten, met gecertificeerde drivers. Verkrijgbaar in verschillende prestatievarianten variërend van 60 - 130 W TGP (max. stroomverbruik).
Deze middenklasse grafische kaarten kunnen alle huidige spellen vloeiend spelen. Veeleisende spellen kunnen alleen met gemiddelde detail instellingen gespeeld worden.

Tiger Lake (H45-serie) gebaseerde high-end octa-core SoC voor gaming laptops en werkstations. De acht CPU-kernen klokken met 2,4 - 4,6 GHz. De geïntegreerde UHD Graphics GPU biedt 48 kernen op maximaal 1,45 GHz. De chip is vervaardigd in het 10nm SuperFin (verbeterd 10nm) proces. Ondersteunt beheerfuncties zoals Intel vPro, SIPP en TXT.

17.30": Dit grote schermformaat wordt gebruikt voor laptops die voornamelijk bedoeld zijn voor gebruik op een bureau.
Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.

2.53 kg: Dit gewicht is typisch voor laptops met een 14-16 inch schermdiagonaal.
