EN→NL Archive.org versionAsus is trying to push one of its flagship features into more accessible models, and the ScreenPad certainly makes the VivoBook S15 stand out in the premium laptop segment. It's much improved compared to the first-gen version, but still has some quirks. It doesn't really have any killer app either – there aren't any situations that hugely benefit from having it. Still, it's very cool and it feels futuristic while being much less disruptive than the massive ScreenPad+ second screen on the ZenBook Duo (UX481).

EN→NL Archive.org versionAsus VivoBook S15 is no doubt a stylish laptop, with the promise of a high-end processor at a price that is not too high. Its display, performance and battery life make it an appealing choice. What is a let down is the audio and the trackpad. The ScreenPad 2.0 while an interesting idea needs more improvement in my view. If you want a laptop with the latest Intel processor and don’t want to pay more than Rs 70,000, this is one of the options to consider.

NVIDIA GeForce MX250:
Opvolger van de MX150 en nog altijd gebaseerd op dezelfde Pascal GP108-chip (vergelijkbaar met de GT 1030 voor desktops) maar met hogere kloksnelheden. Verkrijgbaar in twee versies, een normale 25 Watt-versie en een energiezuinige versie met een TDP van 10 Watt en verminderde prestaties. De 25 Watt-versie biedt o.a. een 21% hogere boost-kloksnelheid dan de oude MX150, met als gevolg een prestatiewienst van 5%.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

i7-10510U:
Comet Lake-gebaseerde energie-efficiënte quad-core-processor (technisch identiek aan Whiskey Lake en nog altijd geproduceerd in 14nm++). De CPU-cores kunnen klokken tussen 1.8 en 4.9 GHz (alle 4 cores 4.3 GHz max.) met HyperThreading (8 threads). De geïntegreerde geheugencontroller ondersteunt DDR4-2666 en met cTDP up/down kunnen de prestaties door de fabrikant aangepast worden (10 - 25 Watt mogelijk, 15 Watt standaard).
