While the Asus Chromebook C424 isn’t super-powerful, beyond that it’s hard to find too much fault with this device. Most of the issues highlighted can be sorted by spending more on a higher configuration, but the C424 remains a good value. It has a good build quality that rivals far more expensive Windows laptops, a beautiful display, and a fantastic keyboard that makes it a great buy. Overall, the Asus C424MA-AS48F is a premium-feeling machine that delivers an enjoyable experience for less money than its Windows-based brethren, as long as you’re able to get by with Chrome OS. And again, that’s getting easier and easier to do. If you need a Windows laptop for around the same price, the Asus Vivobook 14 is a good alternative.

De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).
