As for the primary specs, you will receive a 6.67-inches AMOLED display panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits peak brightness. Besides this, the device provides 8GB to 12GB RAM support with 256GB to 512GB of internal storage. The phone runs on the latest Android 12 OS with MyOS 12 custom UI support, and for the chipset, you will get a 7nm – Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset. The ZTE Axon 40 Pro smartphone is equipped with a quad-rear camera consisting of a 100MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth lens. As for the video recording, you can record 4K videos at 60fps with gyro-EIS support. On the front, you get a decent 16MP selfie camera. The battery section brings a Li-Po 5000 mAh battery with a 66W fast charging support. You can pick this phone in Black, Gold, and Blue color options. Qualcomm Adreno 650:
Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets geïntegreerd in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-SoC. Qualcomm claimt dat de chip 25% sneller is dan de Adreno 640 in de Snapdragon 855-SoC en over 50% meer compute-units (ALU's) beschikt. Voor Android zou het een van de snelste grafische kaarten moeten zijn in 2020.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

SD 870:
High-end SoC voor smartphones die medio 2020 is geïntroduceerd en is vervaardigd in 7 nm bij TSMC (verbeterde N7P). Integreert één Prime Core op basis van een ARM Cortex-A77-architectuur geklokt op maximaal 3,2 GHz. Drie andere prestatie-kernen zijn ook gebaseerd op de A77 maar klokken tot 2,42 GHz. Verder zijn er vier energiebesparende kernen geïntegreerd die zijn gebaseerd op de ARM Cortex-A55 architectuur en klokken tot 1,8 GHz.
