The Ulefone Armor 6E is strongly related to the Armor 6 and even the packaging's differences come down to just one sticker. The Armor 6E is cheaper and while it offers less storage space, it also comes with a more modern SoC and better protection against the elements. In this review, we are taking a look at the outdoor smartphone in order to determine if this makes it a bargain.

EN→NL Archive.org versionThe phone is a chunky beast, but it doesn’t feel particularly bulky to hold or carry. It also runs very well, no doubt in part due to the fact that its CPU is in fact more powerful than that of the Armor 6 – a Helio P70 in comparison to the latter’s P60. The camera is solid if unremarkable, with a variety of modes that you probably won’t find yourself using because of the not-quite stellar quality, but the 6E also comes with a nifty UV sensor and barometer – making it good for taking on extended outdoor trips.

ARM Mali-G72 MP3:
De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).

Helio P70:
ARM-gebaseerde octa-core-SoC met 4x grote ARM Cortex-A73-cores en 4x kleine en energie-efficiënte ARM Cortex-A53-cores. Alle cores geklokt aan max. 2.1 GHz. Integreert een Cat-7 (DL) / Cat-13 (UL) LTE-Modem, een ARM Mali-G72 MP3-GPU en een discrete AI-processing-unit.

6.20": Er bestaan maar weinig smartphones met een groter scherm.
Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.

77.05%: Dit cijfer is niet echt overtuigend. Het moet in acht worden genomen dat er bijna geen laptops zijn die een score onder de 60% hebben. Dit notebook is beneden gemiddeld beoordeeld, en is niet aanbevolen te kopen.
