Equally indisputable: $2,749 is a lot to spend on a laptop, particularly at a time when other ultraportables such as the Samsung Series 9 and MacBook Air are getting skinnier and more capable.

Sony has a reputation for building excellent high-end laptops (and even the company's less expensive models usually have a snazzy feel), but the Vaio Z is truly the top of the Vaio line, starting at $2,000 for a thin 13-inch with decent specs and a sharp design. Sony's high-end Z series laptop lives up to its luxury reputation, with a slim, lightweight body, plenty of processing power, and a highly specialized GPU dock.

AMD Radeon HD 6650M: Opvolger van de Mobility Radeon HD 5650 met meer cores, UVD3 processor en EyeFinity+. Vanwege dezelfde codenaam zou de 6650M een 6750M moeten zijn met traag DDR3 geheugen.

De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).
