The Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a stylish, well-designed machine. Unfortunately, it works much better as a tablet than as a laptop, and even as a tablet it suffers from a severely flawed screen, so-so processing power and low battery life. How could we even think of giving it more than two stars?

The Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a stylish and versatile tablet, and it’s one of the few with Intel Core CPUs under $1,000. Of course that $799 model means significant performance concessions, but if you’re workload is light to moderate and you just want to watch full HD movies, edit photos, get work done in MS Office and play iTunes content, it gets the job done fine.

Intel HD Graphics (Haswell): Processor grafische kaart die geïntegreerd is in de mobile Haswell Celeron en Pentium processors. De HD Graphics is de tragere, GT1 genaamd, versie met minder execution units (EU's).

Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.

3560Y: Entry-level ULV dual-core processor met Intel HD geïntegreerde GPU. Bepaalde Haswell functionaliteiten als Turbo Boost en AES zijn gedeactiveerd.
