On the other hand, the touchpad positioning and considerable use of plastic take a lot of the shine off. There’s stiff competition in the premium notebook market segment and while the Chronos makes a valiant effort, it’s just not quite there yet.

EN→NL Archive.org versionThere's no doubt in our minds that the Samsung Series 7 Chronos is a good laptop. The problem is, it could have been great. If only it had a touchpad with better accuracy and responsiveness, and perhaps a screen with wider viewing angles. Apart from those issues, we like the design of this notebook; its keyboard and battery life are excellent and its feature-set (including the slot-loading DVD drive) is useful.

AMD Radeon HD 6750M:
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

2430M: Dual-core processor gebaseerd op de Sandy Bridge architectuur met een geïntegreerde grafische chip en dual-channel DDR3 geheugencontroller. De CPU is geklokt op 2.4 GHz (Turbo Boost 2.7-3.0 GHz) en de GPU op 650 MHz (1200 MHz Turbo Boost).
