De Nokia 8.3 5G is prachtige telefoon van design en daarnaast is de camera-opstelling met ZEISS-lenzen veruit zijn sterkste eigenschap. Het is opvallend hoe Nokia veel gedaan krijgt met hardware die niet eens erg indrukwekkend is gezien de prijs, en het is dan ook indrukwekkend dat het bedrijf op het vlak van software sterke stappen zet. Dat is namelijk de moeilijkste weg voor fabrikanten om te bewandelen op cameragebied, maar het is tegelijk ook een pad met een hoog potentieel.

The Nokia 8.3 5G shows very few frame drops at 30 fps and 60 fps, and our testers observed no frame drops when playing video games, but motion blur is very visible. Touch is mostly accurate on the entire display surface, but the device lacks smoothness. While the Nokia 8.3 5G ignores ghost touches on its edges in portrait orientation, it does not do so when in landscape mode. Further, aliasing is quite visible when playing video games. But the device manages judder well at 24, 30, and 60 fps, and is flicker-free.
