Unless you've been living in a cave for the past year, or on a expedition up the far reaches of the Amazon (well, that one may not count as even some villages on the banks of the mighty river have WiFi), you must have heard of the U100 Wind netbook from MSI: not only the company's first, but also the first netbook to spawn a 10-inch screen and probably the most rebadged netbook in existence. If you already own a Wind then there's not much point upgrading to the new one as it doesn't offer much more than the original, especially as it uses the older Intel chipset. But if you are still toying with the idea of getting a netbook, then MSI's Wind Plus should be high on your list of possibles.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 is een geïntegreerde (onboard) grafische chip op de Mobile Intel 945GM chipset. Dit is een snellere kloksnelheid versie van de GMA 900.

Deze grafische kaarten voor notebooks zijn niet bruikbaar voor games. Als ze al games kunnen draaien, dan doen ze dat met grafische afwijkingen en heel lage framesnelheid. Voor gamers zijn deze chips ongeschikt! Kantoor en internet taken zijn, daarentegen, geen probleem voor deze GPUs.

N280: Energiezuinig, goedkoop en trage netbook single core CPU. Door de in-order uitvoering zijn de prestaties per MHz lager dan van een Core Solo of Celeron M processor. Vergeleken met de N270 is de N280 slechts iets hoger geklokt en heeft een hogere FSB.
