EN→NL Archive.org versionAt the end of the day the YOGA C630 by Lenovo was obviously built by those wanting a Windows device that is always connected with true all day battery life. If that sounds like you and your applications operate on Windows on Snapdragon then the C630 might be just what you need. We managed to get almost 23 hours of battery life with the screen at 50% brightness and that is awesome. Sure, it isn’t the fastest laptop when it comes to CPU performance, but these Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms are getting better each and every generation. For $599 at Best Buy this laptop is fairly inexpensive for its current target audience, which would be business travelers or anyone working unplugged out in the field.

As such, we’ll guess that people reading this review have a specific use case in mind, probably one with extreme connectivity and battery endurance in mind. We would recommend the 8GB of RAM version if you want to have more browser tabs open.

But you should be able to switch to a full version of Windows 10 to run x86 applications downloaded from other sources… just make sure to keep in mind that they’ll probably take a bit of a performance hit since the computer will have to emulate x86 architecture.

Qualcomm Adreno 630:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 845-SoC. Volgens Qualcomm 30% sneller dan de oude Adreno 540 in de Snapdragon 835 met 30% lager energieverbruik.
De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).
