Als je ooit een 2-in-1-laptop met een groot scherm wilde, ongeacht hoeveel hij zou kunnen wegen, dan zou de nieuwe 16-inch Lenovo Yoga 7 convertible daar goed bij passen. Het model biedt enkele van de nieuwste processors die beschikbaar zijn, waaronder Intel 12e generatie Core-P en Core-H CPU's en discrete Intel Arc graphics.

EN→NLThe Lenovo 7i 16 is a great laptop for anyone who wants a larger screen but doesn't want to sacrifice style, I say this as often 16-inch devices can often look and feel like cumbersome stationary devices. The 7i 16-inch looks and feels like a slightly larger version of Lenovo's flagship consumer 9i laptop. The 7i retains all the things that make the 9i a flagship while offering configuration options that are a bit more considerate of someone's budget, while keeping a baseline quality standard. Who the devices aren't for, are gamers or anyone who uses specialized graphical applications. While a year over year leap a couple of years ago, the Iris Xe graphics still fall short of a content creators' day-in and day-out dream. The throttling from either the U-Series and EVO specifications or simply Lenovo's Vantage software also means users will need to be mindful of their usage, especially unplugged.

EN→NLGenerally speaking, 15.6-inch and 16-inch convertible laptops are awfully unwieldy for use as tablets, but they shine when pivoted to easel or kiosk more for presentations and can take touch interaction further than a smaller notebook. If your budget permits we prefer the HP Spectre x360 16's dazzling OLED display, but the Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 Gen 7 is a great alternative and a superbly well-made solution for anyone seeking a larger 2-in-1.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoC's op basis van de nieuwe Gen. 12-architectuur met 96 EU's (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). De kloksnelheid is afhankelijk van het processormodel. De Tiger Lake chips worden geproduceerd in het moderne 10nm+ proces bij Intel.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

i7-1260P:
Een CPU uit de Alder Lake familie voor het hogere middensegment, met 4 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. Deze 28 W SoC is ontworpen voor gebruik in ultralichte laptops. De Core i7-1260P's prestatie-kernen zijn uitgerust met Hyper-Threading, voor een totaal van 16 threads. Deze 12e generatie CPU draait op 1,5 GHz tot 4,7 GHz en ondersteunt vPro-functies van het "Essentials"-niveau. Tot slot heeft de Core i7-1260P een ingebouwde 96 EU Iris Xe GPU, in tegenstelling tot bepaalde 11e generatie Tiger Lake-UP3-onderdelen.
