The Yoga 6 is so far Lenovo’s best effort in becoming greener, and with a small change to the design and the base, it can be a fantastic portable machine for Designers and Creative professionals, who like a smaller form factor and want a portable machine. In the future, we would like to see the latest processors, which bring new and better technologies.

Lenovo's new stylish budget 2-in-1 laptop is out in our market. It is a 13" laptop and it is equipped with a Ryzen 7 5700U, 1TB of SSD, and 16GB of DDR4 ram. Lenovo is not new when it comes to 2-in-1 laptops, and the real question here is, will the Lenovo Yoga 6 be enough for Lenovo to conquer the 2-in-1 market?

The Lenovo Yoga 6 is a great little portable laptop that excels at use away from a desk, thanks to its generous battery life and flexible 360-degree hinge. Its shell is plastic but the fabric-covered lid delivers some personality; it’s more distinctive than that of the average plastic PC. The Yoga 6’s keyboard is very good, and the glass touchpad is one of the best around. If you’ll mostly use your laptop at home, consider a Lenovo Yoga 7-series device instead. It’s classier, the 14-inch screen makes apps look better, the latest models feature sharper panels, and they handle games better, too.

The Lenovo Yoga 6 is a wonderful laptop that not only looks good, but works well thanks to its AMD Ryzen 7 CPU, clicky keyboard and long battery life. However, if you don’t like dim displays, and can’t stand when laptops get hot, you might want something else. Try looking at the HP Pavilion Aero 13, which is one of the lightest laptops around that offers a super bright display. But overall, you won’t find a laptop that looks as cool as the Yoga 6, and this one even flips.

The 13-inch Yoga 6 grew on us from our initial impressions, proving itself a solid all-around convertible. The price is very fair for the components, and the build quality doesn’t leave much room for complaint. The base model would be a great deal too, if you’re okay with a slightly lower amount of power. The display and webcam don't distinguish themselves, but hitting average in some areas is fine at this price point. If you’re shopping for a no-fuss, sub-$1,000 ultraportable, and you like the fabric lid, you could do much worse than the Yoga 6.

Lenovo Yoga 6 review: A stylish convertible with AMD Ryzen 5000 processors

The Lenovo Yoga 6 is a laptop I like almost every way. The fabric-covered design is definitely one of my favorite aspect of it as it makes this a truly unique device compared to just about anything else. You also get strong performance courtesy of AMD’s Ryzen 5000 series processors, and the versatility of a convertible form factor like this is a big plus, too. The Lenovo Yoga 6 competes very closely with the HP Pavilion Aero, both in terms of price and specs. We found the HP Pavilion Aero to be one of the very best laptops you can get for this price, but the Yoga 6 has some notable advantages. For starters, it’s a convertible, and for me, that would be enough reason to choose it over the Pavilion Aero. The fabric-covered design is also very welcome, but it’s ultimately up to you if you like that look. In the long-term, it won’t impact usability that much. On the other hand, it’s worse on a few technical levels. The display isn’t as bright, and it can be hard to see outdoors, plus HP is using a taller screen that’s great if you want to get work done.

Lenovo Yoga 6 review: AMD helps bring performance and price to the masses

Since getting the Yoga 6 for review the number of satisfied customers on the Best Buy review page has only increased. It would seem the Yoga 6 offers a lot for its price point and sits comfortably at the new mid-range point for PCs. While many of the readers here covet the $1,000 and up devices for their power, brand association and hard to get specs, there is a much larger market that sits just below. Customers are mostly content with a vivid touchscreen, enough power to do averagely well in most categories and a piece of hardware light enough to carry from the class, office, or the coffee shop and back home. The Lenovo Yoga 6 does all the above and with a unique style the blends premium with a novel design that stands out against the sea of aluminum clad casings. In short, the Lenovo Yoga 6 isn't a power device, it isn't necessarily the cheapest, but the AMD model does offer customers a taste of both at a reasonable asking price.
