EN→NL Archive.org versionThe Lenovo ThinkPad L512 offers some cool perks over the average notebook. It has one of the highest percentages of post- consumer plastic and a new environmentally friendly packaging. That said, it would have been nice to see the same things applied to one of the upper ThinkPad models instead of the SL-series from which the L-series is built. Being eco-friendly and offering high performance would be a big draw for a lot of consumers and companies as long as the price is right. While it's great that Lenovo has managed to increase their use of eco-friendly materials without significantly increasing the price, the more important goal might be applying the new philosophy to their entire lineup.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics:
Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.

330M: De Core i3-330M is een trager geklokte 350M en heeft geen Turbo Boost functie. De maximum kloksnelheid is 2,13 GHz. Dankzij Hyperthreading kunnen er 4 threads gelijktijdig uitgevoerd worden. Een geïntegreerde videokaart (GMA HD 3150) en een DDR3 geheugen controller zitten bij in processor verwerkt.
