The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 proved it’s a capable mobile workstation. The build quality is good and the chassis feels premium to the touch because of the soft finish. Aside from the NumPad absence, we got zero complaints about the input devices. The keyboard is comfortable for work and the touchpad is smooth and accurate. The two speakers offer very good sound quality clear of deviations. The main con of the laptop is the cost. We didn’t opt for the most powerful internals, actually, we picked a laptop with the base panel as well as the entry-level CPU and GPU for the series. Even then, the price isn’t low at all. Still, the performance is always there when you need it. The CPU can maintain a high P core and decent E core clock under any kind of load.

NVIDIA RTX A1000 Laptop GPU:

Grafische kaart voor professionele laptops uit het middensegment, gebaseerd op de Ampere GA107-chip met 2.048 CUDA-kernen. Vergelijkbaar met de GeForce GTX 3050 voor consumenten, met gecertificeerde drivers. Verkrijgbaar in verschillende prestatievarianten variërend van 35 - 95 W TGP (max. stroomverbruik).

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

i7-13700H: Op Alder Lake gebaseerde mobiele CPU met 6 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. De prestatie-kernen bieden hyper-threading, wat leidt tot 20 threads die verwerkt kunnen worden. De CPU klokt tot 5 GHz. Vergeleken met de i9-13900HK wordt er geen eenvoudige overklokfunctie ondersteund, maar wel een volledige vPro-beheerfunctieset.
