In the end the Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 is a well built tablet, it functions well and operates smoothly. The mid-range at best specs, low resolution, lack of a rear camera, and occasional stutters makes it hard to justify. For the price you could do better, but if Lenovo drops her down to $299 this might be a slightly different story.

The Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 isn't terrible, but it just isn't nearly as good as some of the similarly priced or even cheaper alternatives. At the low end is the $199 Nexus 7, which features better specs in nearly every way at half the price. The $379 Asus Transformer Pad TF300 also bests the IdeaTab S2109 in pretty much every single category. There's also the Coby Kyros MID9742, which is similarly equipped, but costs only about $200 at most retailers. It doesn't have access to the Google Play app store, though, so the IdeaTab S2109 will still make a better tablet for most consumers. If it were priced $100 lower, I could see some real use for the S2109, but as it stands I really don't see any reason to choose the S2109 over the TF300 or Nexus 7.

NVIDIA GeForce ULP (Tegra 2): Een SoC Ultra Low Voltage GPU die in de Tegra 3 zit. Afhankelijk van het model is deze geklokt op 300 tot 400 MHz.

Deze grafische kaarten voor notebooks zijn niet bruikbaar voor games. Als ze al games kunnen draaien, dan doen ze dat met grafische afwijkingen en heel lage framesnelheid. Voor gamers zijn deze chips ongeschikt! Kantoor en internet taken zijn, daarentegen, geen probleem voor deze GPUs.
