Considering it costs less than $1000, the IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 delivers surprisingly strong performance, even in gaming. It might not be competing with a true gaming laptop, but it can manage casual gaming well. It keeps up with everyday tasks like web browsing and word processing with ease. This combination of low price and relatively high performance makes the IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 a good option for students or professionals on a budget. The IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 isn’t perfect, though. You will need to keep a charger handy, and the lackluster display leaves something to be desired.

EN→NLThe Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 (14″) is a good alternative to the more expensive Yoga 7 devices. The build quality remains pretty good as well as the comfort under full loads. Yes, the fan isn’t too noisy and the keyboard isn’t hot to the touch. Speaking of which, the board is suitable for long hours of typing and the touchpad will do the job for normal usage. The 14″ 16:10 IPS Touch display LEN140WUXGA (LEN9125) is appropriate for work or home tasks because the panel is PWM-free and it has good viewing angles. The color coverage is low and if you want to use the laptop for content creation, the optional OLED display is a better choice.

Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in de Ryzen 7040 mobiele serie APU's gebaseerd op de RDNA3-architectuur met 8 van de 12 CU's (= 512 shaders) en een kloksnelheid tot 2,8 GHz.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

R5 8645HS: Een processor uit het hogere middensegment (APU) van de Hawk Point familie. Dit is geen geheel nieuwe chip; in plaats daarvan is de 8645HS een rebadged Ryzen 5 7640HS. De 8645HS kwam tot leven in Q4 2023 en heeft 6 Zen 4 kernen (12 threads) met SMT-ondersteuning die draaien op 4,3 GHz tot 5,0 GHz.
