Hisense has launched its 100L5HD laser TV in the EU, in countries including France. The ultra-short throw gadget can throw 4K images up to 100-in (~254 cm) wide with up to 2,700 lumens brightness. Other features include support for HDR10+, built-in speakers and compatibility with Dolby Atmos.

The Hisense 100L5HD laser TV is now on sale in the EU. The 4K Ultra HD model was unveiled at CES 2023, with the Hisense 90L5HD laser TV arriving earlier this year. As its name suggests, the new 100L5HD has a maximum recommended image size of 100-in (~254 cm).

The ultra-short throw L5H has an X-Fusion laser light source, delivering up to 2,700 lumens brightness with a 25,000-hour expected lifetime. True Cinema technology with an Extended Color Spectrum ensures a vivid image, plus the projector supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG. Other features include MEMC motion smoothing, ultra HD upscaling and display modes for gaming, sport and cinema. The projector runs on Vidaa U6, allowing you to stream content from apps like Disney+, Netflix and Apple TV. The OS lets you wirelessly cast content from a mobile device and control the gadget with voice commands.

The Hisense laser TV has two built-in 15W speakers supporting Dolby Atmos and dbx-tv Total Surround. You can connect gadgets such as external speakers or a games console through various ports, including HDMI, USB and SPDIF. You can now buy the Hisense 100L5HD Laser TV in EU countries such as France for €3,990 (~US$4,358) at retailers like Boulanger. It is unclear when the model will launch in other markets such as the US and UK.
