EN→NLThe latter in particular really impressed me during my hands-on time with the phone; clipping the module onto the back of the phone sees two new buttons pop up in the camera’s viewfinder; the first turns on the light and the second opens up controls for the brightness, colour and temperature. It was seamless in action and I can really see it being appealing to teens. The dangers children face in the untamed wilds of the internet have long been a concern for parents and it’s only getting worse with each new social media trend that comes our way. As such, the idea of cutting that off at a device level and empowering parents with the control to keep their kids safe sounds like a smart move to me. We don’t have a firm price or release date just yet but you can expect to hear more in the next few months. Qualcomm Adreno 613: Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets, geïntegreerd in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. Hoewel het de opvolger is van de Adreno 619 in de SD 4 Gen 1, zijn de prestaties aanzienlijk lager in de instapklasse.
Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.

SD 4 Gen 2: SoC op instapniveau met 8 Kryo-kernen (twee op ARM Cortex-A78 gebaseerde kernen tot 2,2 GHz en 6 ARM Cortex-A55 tot 2 GHz) en een X61 5G-modem. Gefabriceerd in 4nm bij Samsung.

Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.
