Fujitsu's new LifeBook P770 certainly isn't an inexpensive ultraportable, but it makes up for that price by offering some outstanding performance and features in a very compact system. Performance is very strong with the new ultra-low voltage Core i7 processor and it doesn't impact running times all that much. For its price though, it would have been nice to see more memory, hard drive space and a sturdier feel.

Nevertheless, the Fujitsu LifeBook P770 remains an impressive machine for business users. It's small and light, has a very fast, yet power-efficient, processor and comes with integrated mobile broadband. The build quality could be better, but in most regards, this is a very sound business laptop.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics:

Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.

640UM: De Core i7-640UM is een energie efficiënte ultra low voltage processor voor laptops. Wanneer hij gebruik maakt van Turbo Boost kan hij tot 2,4 GHz geklokt worden. Dankzij Hyperthreading kunnen er 4 threads gelijktijdig uitgevoerd worden. Een geïntegreerde videokaart (Intel HD Graphics 166-500 MHz) en een DDR3-800 geheugen controller zitten bij in processor verwerkt.
