Dynabook has clearly taken the decision to add bulk and weight – 1.5kg is nothing special these days – so that it can include a meaty 53Wh battery, and in return the Tecra A40-J kept going for over ten hours in our video-rundown test. That’s a fine result for such a powerful laptop. If you’ve kept reading this far then we can only assume the screen quality hasn’t put you off, and there is one factor in its favour: a matte finish removes any problems with reflections. We still wish Dynabook included one of the excellent Sharp IGZO panels we’ve seen in its other Dynabooks, but look past this and you’ll find a fast, long-lasting machine for a highly competitive price.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoC's op basis van de nieuwe Gen. 12-architectuur met 96 EU's (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). De kloksnelheid is afhankelijk van het processormodel. De Tiger Lake chips worden geproduceerd in het moderne 10nm+ proces bij Intel.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

Tiger Lake gebaseerde low power quad-core processor voor dunne en lichte laptops. De vier kernen klok rond 2.8 - 4.7 GHz. Geproduceerd in 10nm+ bij Intel.
