If you're looking for a powerful gaming laptop that won't break the bank, then the Inspiron 15 is a great choice. From the Nvidia graphics to the subdued color scheme, this laptop checks off a lot of boxes. Some of the "New" models (like the New Dell Inspiron 13 7000) now offer Intel's quad core 8th-gen CPU at a reasonable price point, too. Though we love the attractive price tag and professional aesthetic, there were a few minor drawbacks.

If you're looking for a budget gaming laptop, you can't get much better than this. For a starting price of $849 (street price closer to $749), this laptop can handle day-to-day tasks and run modern games on medium to high settings. On top of that, the design is really attractive. It's bulky, for sure, but it has the look of an expensive laptop.

DELL’S XPS 13 LINEAGE, now in its sixth generation, has long been regarded as the pinnacle of svelte laptops. When they first appeared in the wild, people were amazed that such a finely crafted product could be made outside of the fruity confines of Infinite Loop. Over its lifespan, Dell has tweaked the design, updated the hardware, and, back in 2015, added the Infinity Edge display. This made a rather tempting piece of hardware extremely so—who can resist the non-Euclidean charms of a 13- inch display fitting inside an 11-inch case? Especially when said display is a beautiful QHD+ touch affair. Aesthetics aside, Dell’s other trick here has been its support of Linux on its hardware. Since its inception, the XPS 13 range has been available in a Developer Edition, which features identical hardware, but runs Ubuntu Linux.

The thing that excites me the most about the revamped design on the Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming is the new hinge. Gone are the small hinges on either side of the screen that felt weak, and they have been replaced with a subsantial, solid single hinge in the middle of the notebook. This feels much less likely to break than the previous iteration, and helps stabilize the notebook from screen wobble.

Further helping you are a 7th generation Core i5 processor and a quarter terabyte solid-state drive. The Dell has generated a lot of buzz even though it’s a very new release – it seems to have hit the sweet spot of being a budget, but not too budget, gaming notebook!

The Rise Of The Tomb Raider benchmark is a punishing test, but the laptop pulled off a frame rate of more than 56 fps at 1920 x 1080. Landing near the top of the chart in the PCMark benchmark is no small feat either, particularly for a system priced well below many of its competitors.

While the Inspiron 15's components are far from the most powerful around, its combination of build quality, performance, and battery life sets a new bar. It's sleek, it offers a full array of ports, and it packs the newest graphics technology, all while staying comfortably under $1,000. The display is the only weak spot, and I don't think it alone spoils this deal. If you're shopping on a budget but still want a machine that can play new games, it's tough to beat this value, and that makes the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming (7567) our top choice for inexpensive gaming laptops.

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming (7567) is hard to beat when it comes to the raw gaming performance you get for the money. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti in our review unit was able to power through the demanding game titles we tested at a 1080p resolution and upper quality settings. That’s not something the preceding Inspiron 15 7559 could claim. This kind of performance at the $899 price point of our tester is commendable, and it raises the bang-for-your-buck bar to a level we haven’t seen in a gaming notebook before.

Bottom line, the 7567 is a pretty nice basic midrange gaming laptop, but you should consider the drawbacks and price. The Kaby Lake + GTX 1050 Ti is a powerful combination for $800, battery running times are pretty good, thermals and noise are handled well and the looks will satisfy probably many people. I’d suggest considering this laptop in case it can be bought for a price of $700-$750 (1050 Ti version), but for $850-$900 it comes pretty close to the GTX 1060 3GB laptops which might have some other advantages like better connection ports selection.

If you're gaming on a budget, you can't do much better than the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop. Priced at $849, it appeals to the pinch-a-penny-make-Lincoln-cry aspect of my personality, while appeasing most of my demanding gamer sensibilities and delivering a battery life that has to been seen to be believed. Plus, that Hibiscus Red is just plain purty.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
