EN→NLUnfortunately, this model will not meet my quest to find a PC that fits perfectly between leisure and work. In fairness, it ticks all the right boxes but based on its specifications (and price), I found it too bulky/heavy to use in bed or on the lounge, and overkill for my personal needs. This PC is a business person’s dream given that it’s portable, powerful and only 17mm thick. If work is paying, this is a machine to lust after, having just the right productivity features to maximise video conferencing and crunching big spreadsheets. The battery life is great, and it charges fast to keep you mobile.

EN→NLThe audience that ASUS is pitching the ExpertBook B5 to is quite specific – gamers and content creators need not apply – but it is not a small one. For professionals, you should care more about portability, battery life and even the build quality. With the ExpertBook B5, you will get all of these for the price of S$2,098 (the same specifications as my review unit) alongside a brilliant OLED display. It is also among the lightest business notebook available at this size, and while the unit tested comes with just 8GB, the ExpertBook B5 has plenty of upgradeability options available including dual storage slots for those that need the additional bump in storage capacity, something that I suspect not many competing business notebooks from other brands are offering. Let's not forget for those who wish to have a tablet-like usage experience, the Flip edition is also available for just a hundred bucks more. For those who wish to have the base model of the ExperBook B5 that has an IPS display and a Core i5 processor, the series starts from just S$1,498.

EN→NLIf it weren’t obvious by now, this is a laptop I can 100% recommend. It does everything I want, has some optional features I definitely can and do use, and it does it in a stylish design that slips easily into an already loaded work bag. For me, it’s a no brainer. Probably the only thing we can’t tell you at this very moment is pricing. Having been announced only a month ago at CES 2022, Australian pricing isn’t exactly locked in just yet, but the I5/8GB/512GB model should go for around $1850, whereas the I7/16GB/512GB model should go around $2400 depending on your retailer. Given what’s inside this machine, and it’s target market though, this is no entry level PC and it is priced accordingly. If you need a serious work laptop that will do everything you can throw at it and more, the price on ask for the ExpertBook B5 Flip is entirely reasonable, and one you’d not hesitate in spending.

EN→NLThe Asus ExpertBook B5 Flip comes with a good mix of features which makes it an ideal laptop for working professionals. It has a really nice display. The CPU is great for daily work and while the GPU has its limitations, it should please users who are not into hardcore gaming. The flip screen and touchscreen support add further versatility. The multiple ports ensure good external connectivity. However, the biggest strength of this laptop lies beyond its specifications. It’s the comfort it brings. The overall compact form factor and lightweight nature of the device makes it a great business or university laptop. The only thing you need to consider is the hefty price tag.

The highlights are the excellent design, the reliable performance, and the display panel. The overall compact and lightweight nature of the device is another plus point. Do note that the laptop weighs only about 1.3kgs. These are the key aspects in a good business laptop and the ExpertBook B5 ticks them all.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoC's op basis van de nieuwe Gen. 12-architectuur met 96 EU's (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). De kloksnelheid is afhankelijk van het processormodel. De Tiger Lake chips worden geproduceerd in het moderne 10nm+ proces bij Intel.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

Tiger Lake gebaseerde low power quad-core processor voor dunne en lichte laptops. De vier kernen klok rond 2.8 - 4.7 GHz. Geproduceerd in 10nm+ bij Intel.

13.30": Dit schermformaat wordt vooral gebruikt voor subnotebooks, ultrabooks en convertibles. Voor alle drie types is dit formaat redelijk groot. De grootste verscheidenheid aan subnotebooks wordt vertegenwoordigd in deze klasse.
Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.
