We also think the size is better than the 10, as this model will slip sweetly into a bag, while still giving plenty of space to play when you pull it out.

Its main downside is the lack of the Google Play store; hacking your way around that can get tiring quickly. But Amazon makes it very easy to download and manage content from its own stores, with an especially safe experience for kids.

If you want an affordable tablet for the whole family, the new Fire HD8 2017 is a solid choice - as long as you buy into Amazon’s ecosystem, of course. You get full parental controls and fast access to all of your content, including those awesome Prime services and the ever-growing Alexa assistant. Considering the low asking price, the specs aren’t too shabby either.

ARM Mali-T720:

Deze grafische kaarten voor notebooks zijn niet bruikbaar voor games. Als ze al games kunnen draaien, dan doen ze dat met grafische afwijkingen en heel lage framesnelheid. Voor gamers zijn deze chips ongeschikt! Kantoor en internet taken zijn, daarentegen, geen probleem voor deze GPUs.

8.00": Dit schermformaat bevindt zich op de grens tussen tablets en smartphones. De meeste tablets hebben grotere schermdiagonalen maar er zijn ook heel wat smartphones met een dergelijk groot scherm.

Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.
