This is ultimately what holds us back from wholeheartedly recommending the R7. While it is a real joy to use, and packs a decent enough punch for most users, it also comes with a pretty high pricetag. With that in mind, we can’t help but think that waiting a few months is going to be a better option than taking the plunge now and missing out on the longevity benefits of Intel’s new CPUs as well as the feature bumps being done by Acer itself.

Acer's Aspire R7 challenges the concept of conventional notebook layout by placing the touchpad above the keyboard. Ultimately, it's what makes the R7 so hard to get used to, even after prolonged usage. We like its screen though, and the Ezel hinge allows it to be positioned in many interesting ways.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M: Upper mid-range grafische kaart van de GeForce GT 700M serie. Gebaseerd op de Kepler architectuur en gefabriceerd door TSMC in een 28nm-proces.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
