The laptop’s user interface is not impressive, the display is too glossy, and the speakers are sub-par. Portability is also a lost cause due to the laptop’s weight, large size and minimal battery life. The AS5551G-4591 isn’t the best laptop for productivity, it isn’t the best laptop for travel, and it isn’t the best laptop for listening to music or watching movies.It is, however, a good value when it comes to gaming. The Acer Aspire 5551G-4591, and its various cousins, has serious gaming chops. This laptop can trade punches with the $1,199 entry level Alienware M15x, which has a faster Core i3 processor but inferior Nvidia GT 240M graphics solution.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650: Middenklasse DirectX11 videokaart met een stroomverbruik van 15-20 Watt. Ondersteund Eyevision (tot 6 monitors).
De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).

P520: Instap niveau Dual-Core CPU met een TDP van 25 Watt. De prestaties zijn vergelijkbaar met een 2,1 - 2,3 GHz Core 2 Duo met een level 2 cache van 2MB.
