Kleurrijke midrange.Nadat Nokia de leiding heeft genomen in het ontwikkelen van smartphones met het Microsoft Windows Phone 8 besturingssysteem voegt de Finse ontwikkelaar de daad bij het woord met het uitbrengen van de Nokia Lumia 820. De ontwikkelaar vraagt 499 euro (~$667, RRP) voor de Lumia 820 met een tijdloos ontwerp, degelijke camera en verschillende gepatenteerde apps.

Although we were highly impressed with the Lumia 920's video footage, we weren't bowled over by its daylight photos, finding them well-exposed, but over-processed, which led to a loss of detail. The Lumia 820's pictures aren’t as processed so appear sharper, but the flipside is some slightly washed-out colours. It's by no means a bad camera, but certainly not up there with the best models we've seen such as the Samsung Galaxy S3 or HTC Windows Phone 8X.

Overall, the Nokia Lumia 830 is a huge improvement over its predecessor, with spec bumps in almost every area possible. It's speedier, can capture better photographs, offers a much better and bigger screen and has a significantly more attractive design, in addition to the extra storage space and newer software. We'd still recommend checking out other mid-range smartphones before making your purchasing decision, though, as the Lumia 830 has some solid rivals from competing companies.

Qualcomm Adreno 225:

Deze grafische kaarten voor notebooks zijn niet bruikbaar voor games. Als ze al games kunnen draaien, dan doen ze dat met grafische afwijkingen en heel lage framesnelheid. Voor gamers zijn deze chips ongeschikt! Kantoor en internet taken zijn, daarentegen, geen probleem voor deze GPUs.
