Lenovo: Lenovo Group Limited is de grootste producent in China en wereldwijd gezien de 4de grootste productent van personal computers. Lenovo produceerd desktops, laptops, servers, handheld computers, beeldapperatuur, en mobiele telfoons. Lenovo biedt ook informatie en ondersteunings diensten aan, waar hun QDI een goed voorbeeld van is. Hun uitvoerende hoofdkantoren zijn gevestigd in China en in de VS. Het is opgenomen in Hongkong. Lenovo werd in 1984 gevormd als spin-off van de Chinese academie van wetenschap. Het bedrijf begon initieel als reseller, distributeur en later als CM voor buitenlandse bedrijven, waaronder IBM, die de Chinese markt betraden. In 1990, begon Lenovo hun eigen PC’s te produceren en tegen 1997 waren ze op dat gebied marktleider in China. In 2004, kocht Lenovo IBM’s PC tak voor 1,25 miljard dollar. Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.

15.6: 15 inch scherm varianten zijn de norm en worden voor meer dan de helft van alle notebooks gebruikt. De reden waarom zoveel mensen schermen kiezen van een gemiddeld formaat, is dat deze maat niet vermoeiend voor de ogen is, niet al te veel stroom verbruikt en dat de laptops redelijk compact blijven.
