VIA Chrome9 HC
De geïntegreerde grafische kaart (gedeeld-geheugen) VIA Chrome9 HC IGP treft men aan op de VN896 chipset voor notebooks. De geïntegreerde grafische processor (IGP) biedt DirectX 9.0 3D versnelling en een video versnelling voor het MPEG terugspelen. Daarnaast zijn aangepaste De-Interlacing en Video deblocking ondersteund tot een resolutie van 1080i.
De prestatie van VIA Chrome 9 HC IGP is slechts de helft van de huidige concurrenten van geïntegreerde grafische kaarten (Intel GMA 950, AMD XPress 1100) en zelfs zijn de DirectX 9.0 functies van de Aero interface (van Windows Vista) te hoog gegrepen (het gebruik is mogelijk, maar alleen met bewegingsonderbrekingen).
