NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GS

Dit is een hoger geklokte 9500M GS en volgens de kloksnelheden is hij de opvolger van de 8700M GT videokaart. Daarom is het waarschijnlijk enkel mogelijk om hem in 17" laptops te verwachten (tenzij het verbruik verminderd is). Waarschijnlijk zullen de gameprestaties ongeveer 10% hoger liggen (met een 9500M GS) tegenover de 8700M GT.

De videokaart biedt DirectX 10 ondersteuning zoals zijn voorganger. De prestaties zijn echter onvoldoende om de kwaliteiten van Crysis of World in Conflict vlot te weergeven (omdat de DirectX 10 instelling automatisch gekoppeld is aan de hoogste details).

Ietwat bijzonder aan de videokaart zijn de "Unified Shaders" ofwel ALU's (Arithmetic Logical Units). Er zijn geen eigen pixel- of vertex shaders meer, maar 32 zogenaamde stream processoren die het grafishe werk doen (in eerdere tijden was dat de taak van de pixel en vertex shaders). Het voordeel is dat theoretish gezien er geen wachtijd van de ALUs is.

De Stream processoren van NVIDIA zijn 1-dimensionaals (1D) en zijn instaat om een scalaire bewerkingen met een MADD- en MUL-bewerkingen te maken. Daarnaast klokt NVIDIA de shader-ALUs ietwat hoger dan de andere chip.
