The price isn't extravagant, especially because Lenovo and their biggest US partner Best Buy are prone to having frequent sales, but it's a little bit more than the competing HP Spectre x360 (which must be the thorn in Lenovo's side by now). The Yoga 910 is every bit as attractive and chic, and it adds the bonus larger display and a stunning 4K option. The laptop is fast and there are storage and RAM options to ensure its usefulness for several years. Our only caveat is the fan, which can be annoying. Perhaps Lenovo will issue a firmware update to address that.

De Lenovo is op dit moment één van de beste convertibles van dit moment. Er is krachtige hardware aanwezig en ook op het gebied van schermtechnologie lijken er geen compromissen te zijn gesloten. Dan heb je nog wel de keuze: ga je voor een variant met een lagere resolutie en ruim vijf uur accuduur meer of ga je voor het beste van het beste en ga je voor ruim tien uur accuduur? In beide gevallen zit het qua vermogen van de batterij wel goed, dus is het maar net wat je nodig hebt, wil hebben en verwacht van een convertible.

There isn’t we can say against the Yoga 910 because it surpassed almost all of our expectations. It’s sleek, powerful, versatile and portable. The build quality is just impeccable while the keyboard and touchpad assure excellent user experience. And even though the weight of the notebook has increased a bit, we can’t really blame Lenovo for that because it houses a monstrous 78Wh battery that will get you through the day and a half probably. Our battery tests confirm that with record-breaking results and quite honestly, you won’t find any other notebook at this price range with similar endurance.

De behuizing is van stevig metaal gemaakt en ook het horlogebandscharnier houdt het scherm netjes op de gekozen positie.

De Lenovo Yoga 910 is een zeer fraaie laptop. Met een scherm van net geen 14 inch is het een zeer mooi formaatje, ook het uiterlijk is op het eerst gezicht oogstrelend. Als we echter wat kritischer kijken naar deze laptop dan zijn er toch een aantal zaken waarin deze laptop wat ons betreft tekortschiet. De bouwkwaliteit van het scherm is wat fragiel, de camera zit op een rare plaats en het toetsenbord is wat ons betreft niet prettig in gebruik. Dat laatste zal zoals gezegd deels een kwestie van smaak zijn overigens.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" uit de Engelse legende, novo (Latijn voor nieuw) werd in 1984 opgericht als Chinees handelsbedrijf in computers. In 2004 was het bedrijf de grootste laptopfabrikant in China en, na de overname van IBM's pc-divisie in 2005, de op drie na grootste ter wereld. Naast desktops en notebooks produceert het bedrijf monitoren, projectors, servers, enz. en is het gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling, productie en marketing van consumentenelektronica, pc's, software, bedrijfsoplossingen en aanverwante diensten.

In 2016 stond het bedrijf op de eerste plaats in de wereld wat betreft computerverkopen. Dit was in 2023 nog steeds het geval, met een wereldwijd marktaandeel van ongeveer 23%. Belangrijke productlijnen zijn Thinkpad, Legion en Ideapad.

In 2011 verwierf het een meerderheidsbelang in Medion AG, een Europese fabrikant van computerhardware. In 2014 werd Motorola Mobility gekocht, wat Lenovo een boost gaf op de smartphonemarkt.
