The ASUS AiO P1801 is a unique and stylish computing gadget with excellent performance in Windows 8 as well as Android. It is unique because there is none other of its kind to pose a challenge. It works as an excellent desktop PC, thanks to its powerful 3rd generation Intel Core i5 quad-core CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M discrete graphics card, while the Android tablet is also speedy with the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The beauty of this device is that you can use it as a Windows 8 PC with the touchscreen tablet, and you can simply unplug the tablet while it is still switched on and opt to either use it with Android or with Windows 8 streaming over Wi-Fi, thus giving you excellent mobility inside you house or office. The TV tuner adds to its entertainment value, but ASUS should have incorporated a Blu-ray drive instead of the stale DVD writer to really drive the point home.

This particular variant of the Asus Transformer AiO powered by Intel Core i3 processor is priced at Rs 86,999. A Core i5 variant is also available, which is priced at Rs 92,999. The Transformer AiO is a great concept, but it’s a bit too large. It would have been nice if the display was a 12-inch tablet and the PC Station was one-third the size with the same configuration. In that case, the tablet would have made more sense as a portable device. For the price of this all-in-one PC, you would be better off with an iPad or an Android tablet and a regular all-in-one PC.

The PC market is in a very confused state right now, everyone says the market is dying, tablets are gaining in popularity at an alarming rate and smartphones are the norm. ASUS seems to have taken that confusion to heart when they came out with this AIO Transformer. It's a very confused device and while it might have a very specific use-case, it doesn't seem to make much sense, practically speaking. Should you spend your hard-earned cash on it? Maybe not. Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is een grote Taiwanese fabrikant van computerhardware gevestigd in Taipei, opgericht in 1989. Onder de merknaam Asus produceert het bedrijf een breed scala aan producten, waaronder laptops, desktops, moederborden, grafische kaarten, monitoren, smartphones en netwerkapparatuur, complete systemen en pc-onderdelen voor eindgebruikers.

Onder de merknaam ROG (Republic of Gamers) produceert ASUS gaming laptops die bij gamers bekend staan om hun krachtige specificaties, speciale grafische kaarten, schermen met hoge verversingssnelheid en geavanceerde koelsystemen.

Naast gaming wordt een breed scala aan notebooks aangeboden voor verschillende behoeften en budgetten, van ultraslanke en lichtgewicht ultrabooks tot veelzijdige 2-in-1 convertibles en budgetvriendelijke opties. In 2023 had Asus wereldwijd een marktaandeel van 7% op de pc-markt.

De klanttevredenheid over ASUS-notebooks heeft betrekking op de prestaties, de functies en de goede prijs-prestatieverhouding van ASUS-notebooks. Zoals bij elk merk zijn er echter af en toe meldingen van problemen zoals oververhitting, drivercompatibiliteit of problemen met de bouwkwaliteit.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
